Several years ago, we had a new lawn installed, also that same year our oak trees had a huge crop of acorns that littered the yard. I tried to rake the acorns, but the new grass was being damaged. I ended up using my leaf blower to blow the acorns into small piles. I would then bend and reach to scoop up the acorns by hand into a basket. That was our Ah hah moment. I thought if I mounted a basket or bag in front of my leaf blower, I could collect the lawn debris by blowing it into the bag. This accessory could be used not only for acorns but for maintaining your lawn of sorts of debris like pine cones, gum balls, crab apples, litter, grass clippings and more. I proceeded to build a handmade prototype out of materials I had in my garage workshop. I mounted it to my leaf blower with lots of duct tape and gave it a go. It worked and that sparked the idea of taking it to other lawn and garden lovers. We went on to patent the design and begin manufacturing and shipping to lawn and garden aficionados around the world. Today, Lawnch-it is quickly becoming a popular garden gadget because it is simply a smart add-on that instantly makes your existing leaf blower more versatile and more useful.
